This page contains the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service of Kreitman Law, LLC ("Kreitman Law," "we," "us," or "our"), including our SMS / Text Messaging Terms. They apply to kreitmanlaw.com, superegolawsuit.com, takeofflawsuit.com, gnstruckinglawsuit.com, extramilelawsuit.com, primelogisticslawsuit.com, and spacexfraud.com (collectively, "our websites" or "our sites").

This Privacy Policy explains how Kreitman Law collects, uses, and protects information when you visit any of our websites, call or text us, email us, or use our online intake and scheduling forms. It also contains our SMS / Text Messaging Terms.

1. Who we are

Kreitman Law, LLC is a law firm located at 505 North La Salle Drive, Suite 500, Chicago, IL 60654. This policy covers our main website, kreitmanlaw.com, and our case websites: superegolawsuit.com, takeofflawsuit.com, gnstruckinglawsuit.com, extramilelawsuit.com, primelogisticslawsuit.com, and spacexfraud.com. 2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you call, text, email, fill out an intake form, or book a consultation, you may give us your name, phone number, email address, mailing address, the name of your employer or the companies you worked with, details about your legal matter, and any documents or photos you choose to upload.

Communications. We keep records of calls, voicemails, text messages, and emails you exchange with us, including the date, time, phone number, and content of the message.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our sites and hosting provider automatically receive basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you visit, and the date and time of your visit. This information is used to operate, secure, and improve the sites.

Information from others. We may receive information about you from a person or attorney who refers you to us, from co-counsel, or from public records related to your matter.

3. How we use information

  • To respond to your questions and evaluate whether we can help with your legal matter.
  • To schedule consultations and send appointment confirmations and reminders.
  • To represent clients, communicate about their cases, and request documents.
  • To check for conflicts of interest and meet our legal and professional obligations.
  • To operate, maintain, and secure our websites and communication systems.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade it.

4. SMS / text messaging terms

Program. Kreitman Law, LLC sends and receives text messages at (224) 536-5524 to communicate with people who contact us and with our clients. Messages relate to your inquiry or your legal matter, such as responses to your questions, consultation scheduling and reminders, requests for information or documents, and case status updates.

How you opt in. You agree to receive text messages from us when you text us first at (224) 536-5524, when you provide your mobile number on one of our intake or booking forms and agree to be contacted by text, or when you tell us directly that we may text you. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of hiring us or receiving any service.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies depending on your inquiry or case, typically 5 to 10 messages per month, depending on the status of the litigation and/or document collection.

Cost. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

How to opt out. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP (or END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT) to any message. We will send one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and you will not receive further text messages unless you opt in again, for example by replying START.

Help. For help, reply HELP to any message. When you reply HELP, we will send you the program name (Kreitman Law, LLC), our contact information, and instructions for opting out. You can also call (224) 536-5524 or email takeaction@kreitmanlaw.com.

Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your mobile information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the categories of sharing described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Please be careful with sensitive details. Text messages are not a secure form of communication. Until we confirm in writing that we represent you, please do not text us confidential details about your case beyond what is needed to schedule a conversation.

Other firm line. Our other RingCentral line, (224) 536-5620, is used for calls and voicemail. If that line is used for texting in the future, the same terms in this section apply to it.

5. How we share information

We share information only as needed to provide our services, and only with:

  • Service providers that help us run the firm, such as our client intake, scheduling, and practice management software (Clio), our phone and text messaging provider (RingCentral), our email provider, and our website host. These providers may use your information only to provide services to us.
  • Co-counsel and referring attorneys working on your matter, with your consent.
  • Courts, agencies, and opposing parties when needed to pursue your case, as part of representation you have authorized.
  • Others when required by law, such as in response to a valid subpoena or court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our clients, our firm, or others.

As stated in Section 4, text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties.

6. Cookies, embedded video, and other websites

Our websites may use cookies and similar technologies that are needed for the sites to work and to understand how visitors use them. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

The 60 Minutes video on our home page is provided by YouTube. It does not load until you click play, and once it does, YouTube's own privacy policy applies.

Our sites link to other websites, including the Clio intake and booking pages, the timeline app, and our other case websites listed above. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and we encourage you to review them.

7. How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as needed to respond to you, to handle your matter, and to meet our legal and professional record-keeping obligations. Client files are kept for the period required by the rules that govern attorneys.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information you share with us. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices

  • Reply STOP to any text message to stop texts.
  • Ask us to stop emailing you by replying to any email or writing to takeaction@kreitmanlaw.com.
  • Ask to review, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing takeaction@kreitmanlaw.com. Some information may need to be kept to meet our legal and professional obligations.

10. Children

Our websites are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the websites.

11. No attorney-client relationship

Contacting us by phone, text, email, or online form does not create an attorney-client relationship. Representation is established only through a formal written agreement. Information on our websites is not legal advice.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date above.

Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our websites and our text messaging program. They are an agreement between you and Kreitman Law, LLC. By using our websites or by texting us, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using any of our websites, submitting an intake or booking form, or sending us a text message, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our websites or text messaging program.

2. No attorney-client relationship; not legal advice

Viewing our websites, reading their content, contacting us by phone, text, email, or online form, or receiving text messages from us does not create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship is established only through a formal written agreement signed by you and the firm. The information on our websites, including case descriptions, blog posts, videos, and FAQs, is for general information only and is not legal advice. Laws change, and the information here may not reflect the most current law or apply to your situation. Do not act on website content without consulting an attorney.

3. Acceptable use of our websites

You agree not to:

  • Use our websites for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our websites, servers, or systems, or to interfere with their operation.
  • Submit false, misleading, or incomplete information through our intake or booking forms.
  • Use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or copy substantial portions of our websites without our written permission.
  • Infringe the rights of others, including privacy and intellectual property rights.

We may restrict or terminate access to our websites for anyone who violates these Terms.

4. Text messaging program terms

Program name. Kreitman Law, LLC client and inquiry communications.

Program description. We send and receive text messages at (224) 536-5524 to communicate with people who contact us and with our clients. Messages relate to your inquiry or your legal matter, such as responses to your questions, consultation scheduling and reminders, requests for information or documents, and case status updates.

Opt-in. You agree to receive text messages from us when you text us first at (224) 536-5524, when you provide your mobile number on one of our intake or booking forms and agree to be contacted by text, or when you tell us directly that we may text you. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of hiring us or receiving any service.

5. Intellectual property

Our websites and their content, including text, graphics, logos, videos, and page design, are owned by Kreitman Law, LLC or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Company names and logos of third parties shown on our websites belong to their owners and are used only to identify them. You may view and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission.

6. Third-party services and links

Our websites use third-party services, including Clio (intake and booking), RingCentral (phone and text messaging), our email provider, our website host, and YouTube (embedded video). Our websites also link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of third-party services or websites.

7. Disclaimers

Our websites are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that our websites will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Past results described on our websites do not guarantee similar outcomes.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kreitman Law, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our websites or text messaging program, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms will not exceed $100. This section applies only to the use of our websites and text messaging program. It does not limit any duty or liability the firm owes to a client under a written engagement agreement or the Illinois Rules of Professional Conduct.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our websites will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date above. Your continued use of our websites or text messaging program after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
